Mind Maps
Whether using a website or plain paper. Mind maps are great tool to organize information around a topic. If you are interested in exploring a website check out the link below. On the "text2mindmap" website you can group information change the font size abd color. This would be a great tool to use to prepare for paragraph or short answer questions. Visual learners might find it particularly helpful.

Study with Smartphones!
See the link below to create flashcards and even upload them on to a smart phone so that you are able to study and memorize information on the go. This would be a great tool to memorize specific facts like vocabulary terms for example. "PocketMod"
A pocket mod is much like a foldable and can be created online. You can choose from a variety of templates to record information, include pictures, important terms, etc. After you have dragged the elements you wanted to include in your "pocketmod" you print it out and then cut and fold the edges by following the directions.

Test Taking Tips
It's a good idea to think about what kind of questions you can anticipate answering on a test. You can do this by simply making your own test with a variety of different types of questions. Online flashcards
Though there is absolutely nothing wrong with making index cards or foldables from paper, a more "green" option might be to make them online and go "paperless." Simply, click create and then plug in the information you need to memorize. This is a great strategy for learning vocabulary terms, short answers or concepts.
